ACLU Founded in 1920, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is the nation's foremost guardian of liberty. We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to defending and protecting our individual rights and personal freedoms.

Aids Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania The AIDS Coalition of Southwestern Pennsylvania was established in Pittsburgh, PA, in November of 1992 and was the first HIV/AIDS Planning Coalition in the State. Several AIDS service providers in the Greater Pittsburgh Area came together in collaboration to improve the delivery of service to consumers, to do a regional Needs Assessment and Regional Strategic Service Planning in the eleven counties designated by the Department of Health as Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Bet Tikvah Since its beginnings, Bet Tikvah events have addressed both the social and the spiritual needs of its growing community. Services continue to be led by members of the congregation, creating a warm, involved, and active atmosphere. At the same time, the group socializes together and celebrates life cycle events (such as conversions and namings) as a congregation.

East Liberty Presbyterian Church ELPC is a Presbyterian church ministering in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for almost 200 years, committed to serving the East Liberty neighborhood as well as the responding to needs both national and global. PFLAG Butler Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays of Butler (PFLAG Butler) is a local chapter of PFLAG, the nation's foremost family-based organization committed to the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. Launched in the spring of 2010, PFLAG Butler engages our community around issues which are important to LGBT Butler County Pennsylvanians, to support one another as we learn to live openly and freely, and to educate those who wish to understand our work and the lives of sexual/gender minority Butler County citizens


Pittsburgh Black Pride Pittsburgh Black Pride is one of the oldest organizations in Pittsburgh that serves the needs of LGBTQ community members of color.

TransPride In June of 2011, Pittsburgh joined the ranks of only a few other cities around the nation that hold specific Pride celebrations every year for gender variant individuals and their allies. This celebration was a tremendous success, allowing us to reach out by creating a safe and supportive space for members of our community who may not have otherwise attended a Pride event.
