The Pittsburgh Lesbian and Gay Film Society has been organized solely for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954. Its primary goal is to organize and manage year-round cinema that serves the educational and cultural needs of its audiences and is an organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered (LGBT), and LGBT-supportive persons.
The Pittsburgh Lesbian and Gay Film Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt fine arts organization registered with the Pennsylvania Commission of Charitable Organizations.
